Naglabas na ng nilagdaang pahayag si DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones matapos ang ilang oras lamang na paglabas ng pahayag ni presidentila frontrunner Bongbong Marcos kauganay sa pagiging DepEd secretary ng kanyang incoming VP na si Sara Duterte. Sa nilagdaang pahayag ni Department of Education secretary, handa umano ang kagawaran na makiisa kay Duterte at sa magiging pamumuno nito sa kanila.
