Guro, Mas Piniling Magturo sa Liblib na Lugar: "This is where God called us to be"

Today I joined Teacher Roy and Elna with their 4 month old baby, Genesis on a hike to another jungle school. The terrain is already tough and it got w0rse with the rain. It was muddy and so sketchy!

These guys are capable teachers but chose to serve our indigenous friends in the jungles with very little pay.

I asked Teacher Roy during the hike "why here man? Why not find a more comfortable place to work. A less danger0us place"

Roy said "this is where I find peace. This is where God has called us to be. Anywhere God has called you to be is the safest place."

The path where God leads may lie through the desert or the sea, but it is a safe path. " EGW, {EP 199.1} Sounds radical but teachers in the jungles will tell you that safest and the happiest place is the place where God wants you to be.

Respect to all teachers who chose to live in far flung areas to live out their calling!
